Built in the field. Run with straight answers.

I’m Nick, owner of BelowMark Locating LLC. I’ve spent 18 years in utility locating, learning firsthand how much judgment goes into a reliable locate.

I started BelowMark to give homeowners, farms, contractors, businesses, and public agencies a direct private-locating option when 811 coverage stops.

What you can expect

Show up prepared. Every site is different, so I come ready to investigate.

Explain what I’m seeing. Clear markings are only useful when you understand the picture.

Be honest about limitations. If a line can’t be traced reliably, I’ll tell you why and what your next option may be.

100% Veteran-Owned

Service shaped how I work: be dependable, communicate clearly, and finish the job the right way.

Field experience that matters

Eighteen years in utility locating has taught me that good work is equal parts equipment, field knowledge, and careful problem-solving.

Aerial site documentation

Available on select projects when airspace and site conditions allow.
